# livestream

Every token on RobinFun has a **built-in livestream** on its page. The token's creator can go live directly from the browser — no external tools required.

## Going live (creators)

* Only a token's **creator** can broadcast to that token's stream. Going live requires a one-time wallet signature that proves you are the on-chain creator.
* Start the stream directly from the browser on your token's page — camera, microphone, or screen share.
* Viewers watch your broadcast; they don't appear on camera or share a microphone.

## Watching (viewers)

* Anyone can watch a stream from the token page — no wallet needed to watch.
* Viewers are never shown on screen; the audience appears only as a viewer count.
* Tokens that are live show a **LIVE** badge on the home page, and the home **Livestream** tab filters to streams that are on air.

## Live chat

Each stream has a live chat:

|                |                                                                                                                                            |
| -------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Reading** | Open to everyone — no wallet required. |
| **Posting**    | Requires a connected wallet and a one-time, gasless signature.                                                                             |
| **History** | Messages persist on the page, so the conversation survives refreshes. |
| **Moderation** | The creator can **delete messages** and **ban wallets** — a banned wallet is removed from the stream immediately and can't rejoin or chat. |

## Why it matters

The livestream turns a token page into a live venue: creators can pitch, answer questions, and build community in real time, while trading happens on the same page.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://robinfun.gitbook.io/robinfun-docs/livestream.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
